Bricker as Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel, and an officer of the company. He succeeds Christopher J. Kearney who became President and CEO of SPX in December 2004. Mr. Bricker's appointment will be effective as of April 11, 2005. Mr. Bricker joins SPX from the law firm Jenner & Block LLP, where he has been a partner since 1987. During his tenure at the firm, Mr. Bricker has served as a managing partner of Jenner & Block's former Miami, Florida office and as a founding member of the firm's Washington, DC office. He currently serves on Jenner & Block's national management committee. An honors graduate of Lake Forest College, he received his J.D. degree from the Washington University School of Law. Mr. Bricker is a member of the bars of Illinois, Florida, the District of Columbia, the United States Supreme Court and numerous federal district and appellate courts.
